The restaurant offers a lovely selection of freshly made food, including sandwiches, soups, and a variety of hot meals. It's also a great choice for those on a gluten-free diet. The ambiance is enhanced by beautiful Tiffany lampshades, creating a charming setting.

The food is excellent, the staff is extremely friendly, and the shop is fantastic!

The café/restaurant at the hotel, Wax Lyrical, is quite excellent. We enjoyed both the delicious bacon baguette and the turkey baguette from the specials board, each priced at £8.50. The portion sizes were generous, and we also ordered a teapot for two at £3.60. Both baguettes were served with chips, a rich gravy, and a rather unusual salad garnish. The place was bustling, and the tables were in high demand, which made it a bit challenging for the staff to manage seating. Despite this, I would definitely go back again.

Had a great lunch! The staff was lovely, and the service was quick. They really impressed me.
