Pacific Pourhouse - Union City

This is a great place to go after a long hike! We were a group of 10 and they served us well. We will be going back, for sure.Food: 5/5

It's a fun place to hangout, watch sports, and pour your own beer. We also ordered some cocktails and our first round of drinks tasted like there wasn't any alcohol in it at all. Supplemented with extra shots I suppose so we made it work. They have food and other stuff too but tbh I'd probably just stick to the beers.Drinks: 5/10Vibes: 6/10Service: 5/10Value: 5/10

My rating is only based on the food I got because I took it Togo. I was craving fish and chips and saw that this location had some so I decided to get it Togo. Once I brought it home it looked good came with a nice heaping mound of fries, it had a side a coleslaw, tater sauce, and ketchup. However once I started eating, it was clear this was very poor quality. The batter on the fish wasn’t crispy it was separating from the fish it tasted like it had no seasoning and the fish was dry. The fries were not crunchy at at, they were soggy and also no seasoning. Also the coleslaw was just drowning in sauce, more sauce than cabbage. I’m not sure it was like this because I took it Togo. I didn’t have a long drive home and it wasn’t siting long enough for it to not be crispy. I would give the fish and chips a 1 star out of 5 only reason I gave a two star here is because I feel like I’m missing the dinner experience with the beers on tap. Im willing to come back and try the dinning experience but I won’t be getting the fish and chips again.

I bit into a sharp bone in my burger and my teeth have been throbbing ever since. I 'm frightened imagining what would 've happened if I accidentally swallowed it. Dave, the manager did not have any remorse and said that these types of things are to be expected at a restaurant. To be fair, all the other staff were courteous and took the burger off our bill.I wish I could say there were other redeeming qualities. My table got the $18 Hangover and Pourhouse burgers the burger was soggy but the meat patty was super dry with an oddly sweet flavor. Many taps were out of service. They charge a whopping 20% gratuity no matter your party size.If you want a solid well priced burger without putting yourself in danger, go to In and Out instead.
