Chapala Jalisco - Universal City

Visited Saturday at 1030. I have a simple chorizo and egg breakfast plate that had beans, potatoes and 2 tortillas with a tea for $7.85. Food and service was good and fast. I'm not a local, so my idea of what's good is probably not going to agree with others. It was nothing from the ordinary, but good. Restaurant was pretty busy sitting with at least 12 other groups...just as many locals probably do a good sign that it is good.

Me and my family have dined in on several occasions and we always loved each visit. The breakfast plates, breakfast tacos and dinner choices are all very delicious. The overall quality if the food and service here is very good.

I work next door and come here to eat 2 or 3 times a week. Most of the food I've tried has been excellent. The staff is very friendly, and the waiters are among the best I've ever experienced. If you want the top-notch service, ask for Gabby, but everyone here is outstanding.

Delicious flavors, generous portions, and well-balanced components! If this is the restaurant located across from Bill Miller's Barbecue, you definitely need to give it a try.

Tucked away, this quaint little restaurant is absolutely fantastic, and the prices are quite reasonable. Everything smells and looks delicious. Everyone I've brought here has loved it!
