Sabor Latino Night Club - Upper Darby

Food was good. Friendly hole in the wall Latin restaurant. Typical Central American,Mexican,and Puerto Rican food. Sit down tables and a bar area. Upstairs club was closed due to COVID. But the food was surprisingly good for a small humble place in Upper Darby.

Service was horrible and they don't understand english

I am disappointed that there is no menu at this restaurant. I was hoping to find an authentic Spanish dining experience.

I ordered the mixed platter and was disappointed. The chorizo was dry and sour, indicating it was old. The yucca tostones were also dry, and the steak was chewy with no seasoning. The only enjoyable part of the meal was the pina colada. Furthermore, the chips were stale, and to top it off, we saw a mouse run across the kitchen as we were finishing our food. It was a disgusting experience.

I was extremely let down by my experience at this restaurant. I placed a to-go order for four meals, but the portions were incredibly small and not worth the price I paid. The meat in each dish was just a thin slice of fat, and the rice and beans lacked flavor. I can't say if dining in would have improved the experience, but I would advise against ordering takeout from this place.
