The 1000 Steps Cafe

We visited this restaurant today after a walk on the fitness trail. I ordered the squid salad, and the squid was fantastic—light and not greasy like at some other places. My only complaint is that for the price of around $16, there were only about 8 pieces of squid. Overall, it's a great spot!

This is a fantastic spot for a refreshing break after tackling the "1000 Steps." They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. The coffee is substantial, and so is the presentation. We visited during the week, and the service was exceptional. I hope they consider increasing staff availability on weekends to maintain this high standard. The homemade brownies are the best we’ve had in ages!

I absolutely loved this place! I ordered the "Pure Happiness" pancakes, and they looked even better than I expected, not to mention they tasted amazing! I was thrilled to discover the jam in between when I cut into them. The fruit milkshake I had was also delicious, and my friend enjoyed the salt and pepper squid with strawberries that she ordered. We wrapped up our meal with some delightful ice cream. I'm so glad I found this gem of a restaurant; it deserves a perfect score of 10 out of 10! The service was fantastic too.

After many months of the variety of 1000 steps we have finally stopped from this single caffe in the immediate environment. the prices are not cheap, but the portion size felt tiny for the eier benedict and the bark meat patty was small in the burger. the fries were well done, beautiful and crispy. a nice place to recover after the steps, but not one to travel especially.

It's good to have somewhere to buy drinks after a tough dehydrating struggle up all those steps. Next time we'll be better organised and bring our own because they were very expensive since it's the only cafe in the area. Most of the breakfast options include eggs which we did not like but the lunch options include burgers, focaccia, vegetarian and vegan options along with cakes and slices which are quite ordinary but service was polite. They also sell ice cream. Seating inside and out but not very comfortable.
