University Of Beer Vacaville

The server was great and they were so nice and we had a great time but sadly when I ate the fish tacos from here, I got food poisoning from here. I thought the fish smelled a little fishy but I just put a squeeze of lime would help and thought it was just me. Only ate 1 out of 3 and then went home and ate the other one and was sick for the following 7 days, I was on a liquid diet practically the whole time. That was the only thing and place I ate that was different for me.

I've been to this restaurant 2 times, one for date night and most recently to celebrate cinco de Mayo with friends. $2 tequila shots and $4 margaritas) absolutely the best! We ordered ceviche and guacamole with the shrimp trio and OH MY WAS IT DELICIOUS. The picture doesn't do it JUSTICE lol )Of course we got drinks too and that didn't disappoint. Another thing that doesn't disappoint at this restaurant is the AWESOME service, all of the staff are so helpful, nice, VERY attentive and punctual. Definitely would recommend this place, it can be a little bit of a wait depending on the day but it is DEFINITELY WORTH the wait. 5 freaking stars!

Drove to Vacaville from Sacramento to meet my in-laws half way as they were coming from the Bay Area. It was Saturday around 2:30pm and we were quickly met with a smile. Our server Hana quickly sat our party of 6 and was so attentive to us during our whole time here. Not only was she knowledgeable of the menu but my daughter absolutely loved her. The food came out quickly and everything was cooked to perfection. Hana was so nice and was always on top of asking if we needed anything. It was semi busy at this time, so we really appreciated how amazing she was. University of Beer did not disappoint! Nobody had a single complaint and everyone raved about the service and the food. Thank you Hana and all of the University of Beer staff!

We were super excited to try out this place based on the name alone. I guess my expecting that there would be more detailed descriptions on the 40+ beers that they had like, why they chose them, what makes them special. I mean, this is a University! But, all we got was a QR code to a beer list that just gave standard alcohol percentage and IBU info. We also thought the idea of Korean food for apps would be fun, but just found what was on offer to be way overpriced. I guess your best best for food is to catch them at happy hour, 3 6 pm, when apps are buy one get one free. UofB is located in a gussied up strip mall. There are large televisions on all the walls, and each booth also has teles. Great if you want to watch the game, more difficult if you don't want to be distracted from your date.

Easily the best place to eat in Vacaville!everyone we spoke to were very nice. The waiters were happy to serve, kind and friendly. The host were eager to help and compensate us (a family with kids and a baby) considering the bar atmosphere they still wanted to help us eat.The kitchen did an amazing job with the food! The beers on tap were vast as well as ciders and even though as a family we got there on a Saturday night at a bar spot we were treated with kindness, respect, and prompt service! An easy go to spot from now on!!???
