La Bon Boucon - Vacherie

I sure am glad I found out about this place talk about a hidden gem! Everything I’ve had from there has been excellent. My favorites are the maudlin (a giant andouille), red jambalaya, 7 Up pork, honey jalapeño sausage, smoked garlic sausage, jelly rolls, and bouille pie. This place is awesome.

What a great find during our Andouille Trail adventure! After we get some delicious samples of her maudlin, we bought Maudlin, Andouille, Boudin, Blueberry Honey sausage, Andouille lace and a bag of delicious tea cookies. The blueberry honey sausage was phenomenal and a great addition to our eggs the next morning. It is definitely worth the trip from the north coast to buy a good food.

I absolutely love this place! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the service is unmatched. They serve the best meat I've ever had.
