Indian Bistro - Vaestra Goetalands laen

We went here spontaneously for dinner and were pleasantly surprised. The food (starters, main courses, naan) was delicious and we were served by a very friendly waitress. Also there was a good salad buffet included with our main dishes!

Not good quality. Rude staff. Chicken was dry. Some good side dishes but over all not worth it. I will never go here again. The naan was ok. The rice was just barley ok. The papadams where ok but the sauce so so. The taste of the masala was strange I wonder how they made it . The hummus was really good though. But you can’t build a restaurant on just one or 2 good side dishes.

Food was served super quick, quicker than a some McDonald restaurants, that was a little concerning. The food was as good as any decent microwave meal. I had the chicken jalfrezi, chicken pieces were super huge, and seems as if it was boiled separately then added to the sauce as and when need... AWFUL!! It had absolutely no authentic taste in fact it tasted like some thing you would get out of a tin, hence it was served so quick!! Food was very acidic, oily and watery all at once. I would not recommend this place. However, the staff were very friendly, but you can’t eat them and restaurant is clean. Real bad experience!

The staff at the restaurant were friendly and our food arrived quickly, tasting excellent! We requested more garlic naan bread and it was promptly brought to our table. The restaurant was clean and offered a variety of authentic Indian dishes, ranging from spicy to mild. We ordered two garlic naan breads, a chicken tikka masala, and a chicken korma with rice, which was enough for two people. The prices were very reasonable and we had no complaints. This was one of the better Indian restaurants I have tried, and we will definitely be returning next time we are in Gothenburg. The restaurant is conveniently located near the Nordstan mall.
