Firehouse Subs - Valdosta

This place is similar to Subway and Blimpie, but the sandwiches are pricier here. The ingredients are fresh, and there is more meat in the sandwiches compared to other places. However, I still feel the prices are a bit high for a sandwich shop. I usually get a salad here, which is excellent.

They prepare better sandwiches than Subway or Blimpie, though their prices are a bit higher. I enjoy everything they have to drink, and the staff is very friendly. The restaurant is maintained in pristine condition, and they also offer delicious salads.

The sandwich was delicious! However, my next experience would be even better with a bit more meat in the chili.

The managers, in particular, are rude. The former General Manager, Sondra, was especially difficult to deal with; she would respond to my questions with an attitude. Just yesterday, one of the managers accused me of being aggressive when, in fact, it was her mistake on a sandwich order. She was inattentive and ended up creating a scene for no reason at all, despite having read the order correctly. Her behavior was childish and unprofessional, and she treats her colleagues poorly, thinking she can speak to everyone however she pleases. Honestly, she should be fired. Even the new General Manager did nothing when she was rude to me and told me to go home. The work atmosphere is toxic, with everyone seeming to contribute to a harmful environment. I wouldn’t recommend anyone work here—it's extremely unprofessional and toxic. Many employees spend their time on their phones instead of taking their responsibilities seriously. It’s no surprise that people either quit or simply stop showing up; there must be a reason for the high turnover. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way about this ridiculous job. The management staff, especially the managers, need significant improvement.
