This resto saved my diabetic mom from a big sugar crash while on a road trip. The restaurant was picked at random because it was the closest and turned out to be a nice surprise. In her words: Served by a nice young man, age 22 who was going to college. And prepared by a mysterious woman in the kitchen who remained nameless and unseen...and the interior was spotlessly clean… Worn, but clean. In addition to 'regular ' fare like poached eggs they have more elaborate offerings like french toast stuffed with cream cheese and nuts and apricots.

Here's a fantastic spot! Be sure to try the "Robber" - it's the best dish in Valley Center for a comeback meal.

Honestly, this was the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. The owner really needs to rethink their staffing. The prices are too high for the consistently poor service. It was quite amusing to witness a guy come in just to place an order, only to clarify that he had come in solely to use the bathroom. Later, I overheard at least three people mention that the restrooms were for sit-down customers only. This situation is just absurd.

This restaurant is definitely one of the best spots to dine in the area. Every time I visit, I leave feeling truly satisfied. They consistently uphold excellent service and serve top-notch food. I highly recommend checking it out! You'll definitely enjoy your experience.
