Apice - Valparaiso

This was our last meal in Valparaiso and we were so glad Apice was recommended to us. The beautiful waitress was personal and friendly. The owner/cook was invited and an excellent meal provided. The fried octopus was deliciously served with pumpkins sauce. My husband and I had the beef and fish that were both delicate and tasteful. To round off the evening, we shared a peach dessert that was complicated all night. It is an intimate place with a limited menu because what they serve and prepare is exceptional. The view is breathtaking and we could enjoy the sunset and then the beautiful lights of the evening.

Fabulous classic French restaurant using local Chilean seafood. I don't understand any of the complaints of there not being enough food. I had the duck confit which I could barely finish. Yes, the appetizers are small, but they are supposed to be as they are very rich. I also thought that the price was reasonable for the amount and quality of the food prepared. It was some of the best food I've had anywhere.

Wonderful small seafood resturant with Chilean and French influence. Beautiful views from the terrace and restaurant. Well worth a visit.

Great food, and wine, liked the concept of selecting a small menu thought out of seasonal ingredients to make creatives and delicious recipes. Staff is friendly, place is cosy. One of my best discovery in South America. Open after 8pm
