Dynasty Seafood Restaurant - Vancouver

Amazing hot, fresh, and tasty food. Lots of options. Wish the dim sum menu was larger. Great family/group restaurant. Great service.Parking: Parking is under the building and validated.

The most recent visit to Dynasty Restaurant for dim sum was a disappointment. Dynasty is considered one of Vancouver's top dim sum restaurants, however most of our items off the menu were inspired and unseasoned. The congee lacked basic seasoning the rice noodles were limp and not flavorful. The deep fried calamari was a mess rubbery squid. Even the haw gau was not particularly flavourful. With so many other excellent dim sum restaurants in the city (Kirin Sea Harbor to name two), I cannot recommend Dynasty.Parking: Free parking under the building.

We ordered 4 dishes, their duck with the plum dipping plum is probably the best I have tried over last few years. Highly recommended as the best dish in our Vancouver trip.Other dishes are also tasty.Also they seem to be busy, probably worth a reservation up front. (We walked in ok at week day dinner time, probably would be a different story at weekend.

Key tip: there is car valet machine at restaurant, don't pay at the parking.Food: We ordered a 6 people dinner package. The package is smart and thoughtful, it has different type foods (meat, seafoods, veg) and used up the duck properly without additional fees (soup or skin). The waiter and waitress would keep our plates clean. Only comment to the restaurant: one of the lady server had an extremely tough time cutting the duck skin. Please provide more training. Our duck skin dish looks very very very sad.

Came here for dimsum and dinner and the service was excellent both times. The lobster over sticky rice was amazing and a must try! The dimsum menu has recommended popular items and they were all delicious and all came out in a timely manner. Free parking around the back of the building was also a plus!
