Salmon n' Bannock - Vancouver

This is probably my favorite place to eat in Vancouver whenever I'm in town.

Was very surprised to find that Salmon & Bannock was the only First Nation restaurant in BC. The service from Inez and Remi was excellent, with each spending time explaining the menu. Their friendliness and good advice was much appreciated. The game sampler of Bison, Duck and Elk was to die for. The salmon sampler was in the same vein. A main course of Elk followed and could not be faulted. Highly recommend this establishment. Make sure you have a reservation as it is small and cosy. Three very well satisfied Australians.

You have come for the salmon...fragte uns die Restaurantbesitzerin nachdem wir mehrere Lachsgerichte bestellt hatten...und in der Tat, deshalb waren wir gekommen und wurden NICHT enttäuscht! Wunderbar frisch und auf unterschiedliche Art zubereitet! Und dazu der/das(?) Bannock, ein sehr einfaches aber überaus schmackhaftes, weißes Brot. Anschließend waren wir auf sehr angenehme Weise satt und empfehlen unbedingt den Besuch im Salmon 'Bannock - aber die Reservierung nicht vergessen, ansonsten: keine Chance, denn das Restaurant ist recht übersichtlich!
