Waffle House - Vandalia

Had the best waitress, she was very polite and sweet. i believe her name was Alexis. we had 9 people to come in and eat and she made everyone happy. got our drinks and everything right away. the only inconvenience was the cook. the food was good, there was just a little attitude from the cook. overall it was a pretty good experience because of the waitress. everytime i come in here i hope to get her, she is fantastic!

Honestly they never pick up the phone. I’ve called 3 times to place a to go order then when we pulled up I called again and they were sitting there talking away ignoring the phone. This happens EVERY time we call, why even have a phone if you aren’t gonna pick it up anyways?

Absolutely amazing. Can’t believe there’s not waffle houses in Michigan. A lady took my picture with my pals at the Waffle House. Perfectly greased bacon is a plus. Thank you Waffle House of Ohio for making a Michigan girls dream come true.

We always stop here late. Its usually great but unpredictable. Last trip, the cook was sweeping while the waitress cooked our food. Asked for bacon well done and it was not well done. The grilled sandwich tasted burnt and the entire order was rushed. They were not busy. Visits like this one makes it hard to go back.

I ordered biscuits and gravy with the gravy on the side to go waited forever and not only did I not get it on the side it was ridiculously soggy the gravy was runny and thin it was a terrible experience. However I've had better experiences there in the past maybe that was just a fluke
