Il Pesce Pazzo - Varazze

We stayed two nights in Marina di Varazze and managed to get a table on the pontoon. The restaurant is run by the local fishing industry and whats on the menu each night is what they catch that day. It's a set menu with no real choice so be aware and make sure you like seafood. All courses very well presented and cooked. Incredibly good value for a very enjoyable and unusual night out. Gets my recommendation. Definitely try for a table on the pontoon. Makes it a lot more special

As an expat living in Nice, took off for Genova for the weekend to visit the old city (a trip not to be missed). Drove the coast road from San Remo to Varazze and spent the evening there and went to the Crazy Fish for dinner. Restaurant right on the marina with a few other restaurants and shops. First surprise was not expecting a Prefix Menu. The second issue was the dishes nothing special just okay and the service was a bit slow. The overall dining experience was fine and as we were there with friends we had an enjoyable evening!

Excellent local with fish-based menu fish caught in the day. beautiful idea of the floating room on the sea.
