Gourmet Bistro - Vaughan

Been here twice, both times in a group of about 10. Service was good and everyone happy with their food. The prices are more on the premium end, but the atmosphere and deliver is not premium. Only three stars because there is so much better value elsewhere in the area. Plus the food wast not memorable.

Love coming here for dinner with the family. Kids meals are $10 and they have real food for kids. Not the frozen ****. Real chicken, salmon etc with drink and ice cream. For the parents. Well you have lots to choose from and make a nice night out if it. Great wines and great food. A must if you are in the area.

We went for lunch to this restaurant at the end of November. The place is nicely decorates, service is great, food is delicious The prices are reasonable..

Celebration of flavours - fresh, tasty, varied food. Great service. You won't stay disappointed from the starters up to desserts!...If you have a chance - try their pumpkin spice cheesecake - something special! Great for couples, families, friends, celebrations and business events.

I had eaten here numerous times in the past and have already given a review. But I felt compelled to add another, for the exceptional service, dedication, quality and quantity of food and the overall help that I received from EVERYONE involved at this restaurant.My sister, brother and myself planned an 85th surprise birthday party for our Father. It was important that it would be a fairly casual event, for 30 guests, but we needed the help to arrange all that it would entail. Since my Father had eaten here before and had thoroughly enjoyed his meal, the ambiance, location and service, it seemed like the right choice for this venue.I contacted the restaurant and they recommended that I talk with Laura Brailsford, the General Manager. We spoke a few times over the phone, I outlined to her what we were looking for and our budget. She suggested we meet at the restaurant, to further discuss the event and menu. From the very beginning, Laura was the consummate professional, in all aspects of the planning. She took her time explaining to me, step by step, how the event would unfold, from the restaurant's side. From the Hor-dourves, to the main course, till the dessert, she had everything covered. Delightful to work with, personable and friendly, she made the decision very easy. We agreed on a fixed priced menu and reserved the date.I arrived early on the day of the party, to oversee some of the decorations my sister prepared. We had taken over the back area, not exactly an isolated party room, but comfortable enough for up to 30 people. Laura and her staff (I must mention their names, for their outstanding service, patience and thank them once again, Christine and Shawn, you guys ROCK!!) were already busy setting up the room.From the moment the guests started arriving, till the time they left, Laura and her staff, had everything flowing smoothly and under control. The continuous stream of food that kept coming out of the kitchen, was plentiful, tasty and on time. Kudo's to the Chef and his team!! Couldn't have asked for anything more!!I can't tell you how thrilled we were and the guests, they still can't praise the restaurant, food and staff enough. The party exceeded all of our expectations. So once again, to Laura and her staff, the Chef and his team, thank you so much for making our Fathers Birthday Party such an outstanding and memorable one!!
