Venta El Toro - Vejer de la Frontera

Special spot. Simple food. Good people. This was a return to a favoured niche of a lovely region. Slightly off beaten track, this special domain was busy and popular. And for a reason. The food was straight forward with highlights in terms of the local sourced vegetables and very tasty anchovies. The place has a lot of historical resonance, popular with great toreros from a time when it mattered.

Very nice restaurant and surroundings, well worth a visit- take a ringwalk to see surroundings and Roman aqueducts- finish with an excellent meal at Venta el Toro

This place is a traditional place with atmosphere. You won't get the long wine list of La Castilleria, but basic food, nice atmosphere and cheap prices. Try Fries with eegs and jamon!

Viva la sencilez. Sitio con mucho encanto en un paraje precioso y escondido. El sabor de sus platos espectacular y solo son patatas y huevos fritos, han hecho de la sencillez su bandera, pero ha sido un gran acierto visitar este sitio. Volveremos cuando tengamos ocasión
