On Jan 1st, a bunch of us set out to celebrate the coming of the New Year. Seven Spice is located inside a deserted shopping complex named, "Millinnium." Now, before you decide that, that is strike one, let me tell you things get better. There's a nice glass-walled elevator, and it's a great place to take selfies in.Seven Spices has this nice thatched roof and soft yellow lighting that gives you a warm, fuzzy feeling as you get ready to tuck in. The menu is extensive, and has something for everyone. Continental, Chinese, the classic Indian breads and curries, great sea food, and even good old "veetu saapadu" for those so inclined. The dishes were not cousins in terms of taste, which is definitely the case in China Town. One thing to remember is that Seven Spices' strongest suit is spice. So remember to scoop up all the fried curry leaves and tiny seeds of mustard. Don't orphan them on the corner of your plate, you'll be leaving behind the best bits.Stuff we loved best?? It was a close one between the calamari rings, the seven spice chicken and the reyalu vepudu. Most restaurants manage to dish out really good chicken, but good seafood deserves bonus points. The prawns were healthy, big fellows, not the pin head sized ones you sometimes get. But a word of warning to the vegetarians- there are only a handful of dishes to chose from.As we were soaking our hands in finger bowls, the bill arrived, and it didn't drill a hole in our pockets. We paid around Rs. 250/- per person. A month later, we came back, this time in bigger numbers, to celebrate Saint Valentine's day. The Seven Spices crew arranged a special room just for us (and for the sake of the other people dining there) so that the noise and numbers would be under reasonable control. That day, Seven Spices showed us that they were also consistent. The dishes were just as good, and so what if they take a little extra time making it out of the kitchen and on to our plates? They're just assimilating more flavour. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Seven Spices is located on 53, Millinneum Plaza, 5th floor, Thirunagar, Katpadi,Vellore 632 006. This restaurant serves absolutely fantastic food. You can choose anything from their extensive menu with confidence that you won't be disappointed. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable with good air conditioning and attentive service. The restaurant is accessible by a bubble lift, adding to the unique experience. The food is outstanding and I highly recommend this gem in Vellore. Don't miss out on this wonderful dining experience.
Although the Paneer Makhani took a while to be served, the delicious taste made up for the wait. The view from the restaurant is breathtaking and unmatched by any other dining establishment in the area. One downside is the lack of finger bowls before and after the meal, which may bother those concerned about hygiene. Additionally, it is advisable to have mosquito repellent on hand as the restaurant may have some insect visitors. The manager mentioned plans to install window nets to address this issue.
My name is Nagarajan from Madurai and I recently had a buffet on Saturday, March 7, 2015 that was fantastic. The food tasted excellent and the ambiance was pleasant with very good service. The hotel is located in Millennium Plaza. It had been a long time since I had such delicious food. For just Rs.349, they serve 17 different food items along with live starters and a live barbecue counter. You should definitely give it a try.
