It was the day we don't eat nonveg so we ordered Veg pizza and tiramisu cake slice. They have this joint on prime location. Sit here, enjoy fresh pizza, drink, and enjoy the moment. Tiramisu was really great. Good for quick eat
We were looking for a place to escape the crowds and have some decent food and not be charged an arm and a leg. La Perla fit the bill perfectly. The weather was nice so we were able to sit out on he street. This afforded us the opportunity to watch locals and be entertained by the antics of school children heading home. The farfalle with shrimp we very good, although I doubt it was home made. Our salad had nice fresh lettuce and tomatoes with the addition of very mild flavorful marinated onions, brie and tasty ham. Al this resulted in a causal fulfilling and quiet lunch among the mayhem of Venice.
Brilliant little secret find on a cold evening. The place was bustling, Looks.small from the outside but opens up inzide with multiple rooms. Very friendly staff. We were 4 with 2 kids. Ordered pizzas and Calzone amd a large salad. And emptied two bread baskets because their bread is so good. Fantastic food and very reasonably priced.
We tried meat balls pasta and pesto penne. The food quality was good and reasonable.
It is worth going, in the Canareggio sestiere. Some very good pizzas. They speak Spanish.
