Trattoria Dai Tosi - VENEZIA

Un pranzo della domenica, come in famiglia a Venezia: sarde in saor, polenta, fegato, radicchio. Porzioni corrette e prezzo adeguato (e contenuto). Sapori genuini e personale gentile e disponibile. Frequentato soprattutto dai locali. Ottima esperienza. Forse meglio prenotare perchè non ci sono troppi coperti, per fortuna! Grazie della piacevole esperienza

We booked for a meal this evening after it was recommended and reading the reviews. To say we were disappointed was an understatement. Firstly, we were told by the very rude waitress that we should order our meal using our mobiles and the QR code on the paper tablecloth. We are both in our 70’s so not really up to speed! That was the first put off. We explained we did not have mobiles so she very ungraciously said she would get us a paper menu. It was the shortest menu we had seen (we opted for the Trattoria food not pizza) and when we asked for two things, we were told they were unavailable. So we had a very basic meal of mozzarella and tomato called Caprese (but no basil and tasteless) then two pastas. We were told one would have mussels but it appeared without them. We could have forgiven the basic food we were served if the waitress (and waiter) had been more gracious and friendly. However they were both most unfriendly. Such a shame as when we booked, the owner of Dai Tozi seemed a very charming man.

Il miglior gelato che abbia mai mangiato! Gustoso, cremoso, fresco e non troppo caro. Consiglio vivamente di provarlo, non ve ne pentirete!

Piccola trattoria, proprietario gentile ma porzioni molto ridotte. Abbiamo ordinato il baccalà: buono ma molto unto, con sole due piccole fette di polenta. Non abbiamo ordinato altro perché eravamo già un po' delusi.

Eccellente cucina veneziana. Servizio molto accogliente. Location incantevole veneziana. Bravissimi!
