Caffe Marchesi - VERCELLI

As the caffè marchesi has fallen. 10 years ago I spent my post-university evenings before epochal and unforgettable aperitifs. now they pay 10 euro for a cappuccino, a sanbitter and a saucer eaten with some of the worst canapes in recent years (i.e. some chew slices of brot in the microwave inappropriately heated).

We were there for an aperitif. discreet cocktails, with good quality raw material. varied and good quality starters, all freshly prepared. service a little slow, but polite. good value for money.

Historic bar recommend for cocktail aperitifs. To taste the reinterpretation of the martini cocktail. Awarded at an international bartender competition, conceived by the owner Manuel.
