Best Western Plus Boomtown Casino

We enjoyed our stay in Boomtown. Our room was very comfortable and well maintained. Had a little problem and it was treated within minutes, thanks to Jessie. decided to stay one more night and had no problems adding the night. I'm sure you stay here.

Absolutely LOVE this place! They have very talented bands that play and they give very generous offers for their club members... Not to mention, no resort fee! I get a room here at least 1 times a month and will go on forever. The people who work here are mostly very pleasant and respectful.

Upon check in I had to tell them we had two pets, I sent an email ahead of time and no response. I also asked for a ground floor room since I had my mother traveling with us, none of this was received so we were stuck in a third floor room which was ok but not even close to the elevators and with pets it?s not easy. The lady who was checking me in was so nice but when she asked if we could be moved the manager snapped and said we are full. Ok it was just a request. The elevators are small and only one seemed to be working and very slow. Our room had a drainage issue, the sink and tub would not drain. We discovered this the morning of checkout early or I would have made the switch rooms. Beware there are taxes and fees that they so t tell you about up front. For example a resort fee, this is not a resort this is a casino not the same thing in my opinion. Hawaii is a resort. We won?t ever return to this place we were not happy. Also we are at Mel?s and the food was barely good.

Excellent place to stay and gamble...very affordable rooms clean and updated rooms. Fun for all ages the kids fun center arcade is a awesome place for kids while parents gamble. Mel's diner has a amazing banana split it's a must. However, I wish they and a indoor playground or play structure for my 1.5 year old. He's just alil to young for the arcade. Also the valet service needs some work.....But other then that they still deserve 5 stars.

Loved the room and view, it was spacious and clean. The front desk staff was very helpful and polite. There is great cheap food 24/7 at Mel's. The floor has a variety of machines, definitely something for everyone. The bar tenders were very nice and attentive, and made delicious drinks. There was live music by talented artists. Had fun playing and luckily won a little! Overall had an enjoyable experience at Boomtown this will always be the spot to stay when coming to reno!
