Owner is always very friendly and the food is always consistent with good portions. Honestly, one of the better Chinese restaurants around, especially for VT. As many people have mentioned, waiting times can take a long time, I usually call at least an hour before I am expected to pick up.

Authentic local cuisine. Shuen Lee Chinese Restaurant has been a staple in the small community of Vergennes for over a decade. The menu has evolved to incorporate new Asian spices, and the restaurant is happy to adjust the spice level to your preference while still offering excellent examples of Chinese cooking. With reasonable prices, be prepared to wait a bit when calling in your order, especially on weekends. Keep in mind that it's a family-run operation, and they can get quite busy! My usual wait time is about 15 to 20 minutes, but the delicious food makes the wait worthwhile!
