Overall, our experience was positive, and the service was commendable. The portion sizes were just right for sharing. However, I did have a minor issue with the Teriyaki trio. It was advertised as including shrimp, but there were only two small pieces in total. If shrimp is featured as part of a dish, I believe there should be more than just two.

I always have a fantastic and satisfying meal at Vernon Diner, whether I'm with family or friends. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the generous portions, like their large ducks and milkshakes! The meat is excellent, especially the steak tips and the parmigiana, whether it's veal or chicken. It's a restaurant we consistently return to for a delightful dining experience. Plus, it's conveniently located near the Dzen Baumfarm Post Christmas Tree lunch and dinner spot!

The food is delicious and the diner has a fantastic atmosphere. The portions are substantial and the service is quick. The staff are some of the best I've encountered in a long time. I will definitely return.

This diner is AWESOME! No matter what the time of the day or the night when your hunger occurs, Vernon's homemade dishes have covered you! There are so many different types of food to choose from breakfast, lunch or dessert decide what to eat not a simple task. We ordered from the breakfast part of the menu in the middle of the afternoon. The Bella Nutella French Toast was absolutely dying for! The Challah-Brot made it such a treat! We also ordered the red, white and blue Belgium waffle, which was delicious with fresh fruit and whipped cream, as well as the Elvis waffle with fresh fruit, ice cream, PEANUT BUTTER whipped cream with rugged bacon... OMG!!! I say, "Get one of all if you can't decide! Every time, day or night... they have something to feed your appetite!

Sept 2021. Had breakfast here 2x just this weekend and both times excellent food and service. I had no idea that this place was so good. The portions are good, prices are very reasonable, food comes out hot, the coffee is not watered down, and we got lucky with good service. Ample parking, indoor and outdoor seating, quick service. I've never ordered their cakes but there's a glass display of many delicious looking desserts. Mouth watering. Will have to try this place for dinner one of these nights. Enjoy!
