Creperie Belle Ile - Versailles

Excellent fresh homemade French crêpes/pancakes with an amazing selection. The staff and the owner are very friendly and super helpful. Great value for money and sitting outside in sunset in a quiet street with beautiful terrace is the best closure after a romantic day...in Château Versailles.

Fabulous Crepes hearty and sweet. The ambience was excellent, the food and wine excellent. Portions were large with a lot of filling. Will go back

We stumbled across this place for the most prosaic reason it was close to the laundromat we were using. What a fantastic lunch! We were introduced to Brittany style galettes. We do not know the official explanation, but they were like savory crepes, though more...substantial, with buckwheat flour involved. (BTW, one of us does not like eggs, but loved these. Anyway, we did not have to understand them to love them. We had La Cocotte (with chunks of chicken and La Herlin (with Roquefort cheese and bacon . We also sampled two Breton blonde beers La Duchesse Anne (history lesson on the label and the Lancelot. And we topped it off with a fabulous ice cream dessert that was called something like Tolerante. Intolerably good. Finally, I wanted to mention the servers, who were unfailingly smiling and friendly, and provided English language menu when they saw us struggling. One spoke English very well, but both were very easy to communicate with, and made us want to return.

Good restaurant, pancakes and cakes are good. the staff is also pleasant.
