I used to go to Kool Korners back when it was located in Atlanta near Georgia Tech?s campus. I visit it every time I?m in Birmingham and it never disappoints.

For the first time here. I was surprised by the sandwich. It was just not what I expected. There was only deli meat? Galician soup was really good but if you get the bowl, it is enough for more than one person. Sweet tea was outside, but well drinks were really carbonized. Fast service. Tamale was dry, and I didn't care about the pig inside. Little pig cubes. Cuban, tamale soup 19.99 drink 2.08 The online menu photos must be updated. Prices have risen.

Bad assessment: not because of food, but the rude attitude. They close at 3:00, but it's more like 2:20, without rationality, and are rude about it. Never come back!

Best Cuban in town! BUT THE PASTELITOS ??? i will be going back for the pastelitos a lot over the next few weeks cause they were DIVINE.
