Írjon visszajelzéstBao is a fantastic restaurant. The texture and flavor of their dishes are one-of-a-kind, especially their soft and delicious Bao buns that come with a variety of filling options. While the other menu items are also delicious, you must try at least one Bao before leaving - you'll definitely be hooked. The service is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is on the smaller side, so be prepared to wait for a table during peak times due to limited seating.
I must admit, I don't understand all the excitement surrounding this restaurant. We had to wait a long time for a table on both occasions we visited, even though there were only two of us. We had to settle for an early dinner at 5pm just to be seated. I ordered the bibimbap and my husband had the ramen, and we also tried the bao. While the food was decent, it lacked authenticity. The bao was drenched in sauce and too salty, turning soggy. The bibimbap was lacking in flavor. The service was average, possibly due to being short-staffed.
My sister and niece couldn?t stop raving about this place so when a buddy from out of town asked if I wanted to meet for lunch I suggested we try it out. We were very impressed! Decided to try 4 different Bao and split them, along with an order of KoreanFried Chicken Bibimbap. We also ordered a couple of Vietnamese Iced Coffees. Everything was delicious! The quality of theingredients is amazingly fresh and the flavor profiles of each of the different Bao were all delicious and different. We had theTaiwanese. Classic, Chinese BBQ, Pork Meatball Bahn Mi, and the Tonkatsu Chicken Bao. Every one of them was incredibly tasty andthe Bao buns were soft and fluffy and so fresh. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and would highly recommend trying them out.
This restaurant is a great find. The decor is really unique and the staff are welcoming with excellent service. The food is both delicious and authentic, offering a blend of dishes from East and Southeast Asia. The Vietnamese coffee is particularly tasty, although I wish the noodle portion was a bit bigger for those with a larger appetite like myself.
They have a very veg-friendly menu. I tried the mushroom bao, black bean bao, and the veg version of the tan tan soup noodles. The bao bread is fresh and pillowy, really well yummy as well as the toppings themselves with each ingredient prepared toperfection. The tan tan had just enough heat was hardy with a generous amount of baked tofu and a delicious seasoned egg.
