Christie's Carriage House Pub

Have eaten here over the years, the food seems to have gone way downhill. We just ordered a burger to go, and the burger patty itself was like a thin, hard, dry brick. The bun and toppings were good and fresh, but I certainly haven't had a patty this nasty in years. For a $23 burger, I'm very disappointed. Probably won't be ordering takeout here again.

I have been coming here pretty regularly for 3 years and semi regularly for 23 years.Great atmosphere, very good food and absolutely amazing staff.I particularly enjoy the Clubhouse and the Halifax Donair with sweet sauceEveryone goes above and beyond every time , especially when I pop in with my 6 year old daughter who likes to “twirl with my ballerina friend”An amazing community, especially on Sunday kitchen party jam nights.Thanks for all that you do!

Pulled pork tacos were good, a bit pricey, but it is a pub. Poutine with pulled pork was tasty but also overpriced for the portion. Cute establishment tho!

I have been going to Christie's for decades. Over the years I have had dozens of Nachos servings with salsa. They were always excellent.With that said I went back for the 1st time since Covid and they were terrible. For $17.75 I got 4 or 5 pieces of green onion, a very small amount of cheese on top and under the 1st layer nothing but sliced up tomatoes. The salsa was terrible. The salsa had a metallic taste to it with a lingering after taste. I won't be buying nachos again at Christie's.

Went down to Christie’s for the first time this week. Ate the pulled pork taco, which was actually fantastic. Beer selection was really solid as well. Unfortunately, while the place wasn’t busy, yet the service was excruciatingly slow. Sat with empty drinks while I saw the server scrolling her phone. But of a shame since the food and atmosphere was really strong.
