Dad's Homemade Soups And Sangys

Nice rotating selection of soups. Had the clam chowder and French onion and the grilled Reuben sandwich. It was really really good. Lunch counter type service. Nice clean dining area and very fast service. Various types of sandwiches available. A glass of water would have been nice to have available butotherwise it was perfect for a light lunch. Couldn't finish the sandwich and it still awesome having it a few hours later. Will definitely go back and try other soups and sandwiches.

What really surprised me was the military memorabilia displayed inside. As a Veteran, it’s heartwarming to see support for the troops. I was particularly moved because I recognized several ships and submarines represented here that I knew individuals who served on, which brought back some emotions. However, I couldn’t find the plaque for my ship, HMCS Provider, unless it was tucked away somewhere. You have a wonderful place here, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone. If I find myself back on the Island in the future, I will definitely return. Thank you!

I've been on the hunt for the perfect grilled ham and cheese sandwich for the past four years since moving here, and today I finally found it. Food: 5/5

I had an excellent experience at this restaurant! The clam chowder was fantastic, and the staff was friendly. I also enjoyed a delicious sandwich in their clean, welcoming atmosphere. The only downside was the girl behind the counter wearing glasses; she spoke quite loudly and seemed to chat a lot, which meant that all the customers could hear her conversations while trying to enjoy their meals. Overall, I would rate the food a perfect 5/5!
