They have frequently passed by this restaurant on their way to Victoria from Corpus Christi. It always seemed to have a decent crowd, which made them think it must be a great place worth stopping at eventually. They finally decided to give it a try, and they really enjoyed the experience. The food and service were excellent. The menu offers a straightforward selection of Tex-Mex dishes, as well as steaks and some seafood options. They ordered the Gonzalez Platter, which included two enchiladas, a tamale, a crispy taco, a chalupa, a generous serving of freshly made guacamole, and rice and beans, all for just $11.95. The tortilla chips were also delightfully hot! Overall, everything was very good, including the attentive service.

This is a great spot for dining with large groups. The food is consistently amazing and fresh. I highly recommend the sirloin steak and burgers!
