Sportsman Fish Grill - Vidalia

There are three of us who travel together, and we tried the frying cowboy sandwich with fries. None of us were particularly impressed. The sandwich was decent, but it was cold and lacking in ingredients. The engraving was hot and had a good flavor. The fries were nice and hot, but they were served without salt or pepper; luckily, we had some ketchup in our pocket. When we placed our order, we were told it would take 10 minutes, and it was around that time when we finally received it. We only waited a few extra minutes before we could eat. I would have preferred if they had spent a little more time roasting the bread and serving the sandwich hot. Overall, we rate it a 7 out of 10.

The staff is always very friendly, and the food is truly excellent. While you do need to add at least one extra piece of fish to your order for the price of a fish plate, overall, it's a fantastic experience!

The food was excellent, and the service was fast and friendly. They have the best shrimp po'boy in town—generously sized and the shrimp is perfectly cooked. I can't wait to try my new favorite dish again!
