Chimc Korean Fried Chicken - Vienna

The best Korean chicken in the area. I love their lunch specials. The most delicious fried chicken, I've had. Hands down!

I ordered the drum and wing combo. It was SOOO good. I usually hate fried chicken because if it isn’t cooked well it leaves a raw smell to it. But THIS place, it was just so perfect! The store was clean. The staff was friendly!

The fried drumsticks were fantastic but the star of the show was the mozzarella sticks!!! The breading was seasoned and thick. It reminded me of those Korean fried corn dogs with the breading. The guy who works there was super friendly, explained their menu to us as newcomers, and was overall really pleasant. We will definitely be back.

So GOOD! We got 24 soy garlic wings, the bulgogi entree, and the pa jun for 3 people. All were solid GOOD! The skin on the wings were crispy and flavorful, but the meat inside was still juicy and tender. I 've been to places where it 's dry and overcooked. We all stuffed ourselves past capacity though... Also, my partner just explained to me that the name of the place is derived from chimaek which refers to chicken and beer. Very clever! Even the logo for the name has a subtle chicken in the capital C. I 'm sad I don 't live in the area because I totally would become a regular!

Never had Korean fried chicken before but this stuff was awesome! Great flavor and taste. I'll be back!
