Very happy and friendly place that serves traditional food

Having heard some good things, we ventured out as a family for brunch. I love a good diner and I'm always interested I'm finding a new one. The Virginian did not make the cut. We had a lovely waitress, the atmosphere was great, down to an elderly couple at the table next to our family's taking time to play with our kids. Everything you could want in a neighborhood diner, except for the food. I had the cream chipped beef with home fries and scrambled eggs, my wife had a breakfast sandwich on a bagel, and it was painfully mediocre. My kids loved their food, because plain is best for their ages, but I like things like seasonings, or maybe just a little salt and pepper. All of this was absent. If you're looking for a great diner atmosphere, with a friendly staff, and eh food, you've found your place.

This restaurant has been here a long time and for good reason. Comfort food at reasonable prices. Not fancy food or decor, just good food served in an efficient and friendly manner.

I was working in Vienna today so I stopped in.This is a great little place for breakfast.Service was fast. Food was excellent and prepared as I requested it.They had grits!Which was a plus.They have bar seating and tables.I highly recommend it if you are looking for simple and tasty!
