Huber's Essen und Trinken - Vienna

If you want to visit the Belvedere (well worth while) and have a lunch before or after, right there, opposite the entrance of Lower Belvedere, you find Hüber’s Essen und Trinken. It is a nice little restaurant, which can easily be filled up for lunch (and dinner) so you may want to make a reservation. We had an excellent Rindsuppe and a very tasty lamb stew. The wine selection was reasonable, but not outstanding. Prices mid-range, for two we paid EUR 88,00 tip (with three glasses of wine).

In three days of Wien I of course needed to have at least one Wiener schnitzel and I had it here. Very good, and I also liked the soup I had (creamy fennel soup). Also the wine I had (blaufrankisch) was very good. Seating was outside in the side street which was a bit noisy.

Delicious dinner, top service ambiente, very happy to recommend again!
