Very welcoming and suggestive location, you eat in the heart of the historic center of Vieste, a stone's throw from the castle. The food is of good quality, the portions are generous compared to the average for the place. The service was excellent as was the value for money. Visited first week of September. Ordered excellent pizzas, excellent service, the only negative note that does not depend on the management, the outside table where we were sitting had an annoying slope. Terrible for me! My wife took a platter, nothing special but passable, I ordered the Viestana-style octopus and orecchiette salad, I received the Viestana-style octopus, drowned in tomato with too much onion. After 40 minutes of waiting, the orecchiette had still not arrived, probably the order had been lost. Once I informed the waitress, they arrived after another 10 minutes. But unfortunately they weren't very good! I left half of them. In conclusion, forget it, the place is nice but the food isn't! Tourist bomb!!! If you're looking for a simple pizzeria, this is the place for you. We were initially surprised that there was no wine list and that white wine from the bottle was only available upon request. We then took the house wine, which we found undrinkable. In mid-September, many dishes on the menu were no longer available. We then had pizza and fish. The pizza was good, the fish wasn't great.
