Mezzaluna - VIESTE

We visited this restaurant for dinner last week. Ambiente is awesome, one sits practically on the beach, although tables are a bit too close to each other. Waiting staff spoke a bit German, well one of them, but most only Italian, which was funny and ok. What disturbed me is that our main meal arrived too early, i wasn’t even finished with my antipasti. And the table was too small for that many plates. I sat it on an empty chair at our table. The food was ok, not delicious. I had the orata and my boyfriend tried some beef stripes. Both really unimpressive. The restaurants around our camp seem to only offer three side dishes: grilled veggies, mixed salad and french fries. Not even boiled potatoes. And when we asked, the answer was no, we will not do anything extra. I understand that, of course, but i imagine good italian quisine a bit differently. Overall, we had a lovely evening, the place was clean, but cuttlery felt a little too cheap. I hear they have really good pizza, maybe we should have gone for that.

Didnt have a table booked, had to wait about 15 mins before they could accommodate us which they did really well and without any fussy. Staff are super friendly and helpful with what to order. We went twice once for lunch and once for dinner. Lunch has a more limited menu. No pizza for example. The mixed fried fish was tasty, the vongole very good. Tiramisu was excellent better than the cannoli and the panna cotta. But remember to reserve the desert when you arrive, because we didnt realise and by the time we got to the end of the meal, everything was gone/reserved.

Very good pastas, fishes and SUPER Tiramisu. Workers are very friendly and the kids could play on the beach in the very front of the restaurant. We will go back eat here for sure!

Posto molto bello vista mare persone cordiali, cibo di ottima qualità e servizio eccellente. raccomandato

Spiaggia tranquilla, abbiamo mangiato una buona pizza.
