Lisanti's - Village of Stamford

Stopped here on the way from Greene County to Johnson City, we were starving and passed through this cute little town.Ordered burgers and fries. Burger was cooked perfectly and the fries were good but very salty for my tastes (maybe ask to hold the salt? . Had a bit of a wait but nothing terrible.My wife had a Mac and cheese burger which was interesting to say the least! She loved it!Overall we were very satisfied, got a quality meal and were back on our way. Supported a small business in the process!

Friday night dj night come hang out and have a great time.

Food is great whenever you can get Service went for Taco Tuesday and sat for over 30 minutes and did not even receive a drink and it was not even that busy. The owner needs to get some better help in there before he loses his business because it is great food. This has happened more then once

I was visiting the area for a wedding and to visit my son in college with a friend of mine and we went in right before closing one night. It is a family restaurant and that is exactly how they make you feel as soon as you walk in! Everyone was so friendly and funny, food and atmosphere were great! We ended up at the bar on the other side of the restaurant where everyone was listening to music, talking and having fun. You would never even realize there was a bar from the dining room. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be stopping by again when in the area!

When I approached the door, I noticed that the door to the right had birthday decorations, while the door to the left did not. I hesitantly opened the left door to inquire if they were open. The gentleman behind the bar responded rather gruffly with "Can I help you?" When I asked if they were open, he replied in an even gruffer tone, "Not at all!" I nearly missed his afterthought that they would be open after 6 PM (it was just before 5). I understand they were likely closed for a private party, but a sign on the door would have been helpful, along with better customer service. A polite response like, "I'm sorry, we're closed until 6 for a private event," might have encouraged me to return in an hour. Instead, we went to Vasta's Bistro and Pizzeria, where we were warmly welcomed, received excellent service, and enjoyed delicious food. Mama Maria's was also a great choice with generous portion sizes. Additionally, I want to emphasize my point: after I posted a fairly diplomatic review, the owner responded with an aggressive comment, saying, "Your mother should have swallowed you, f*ck you." Clearly, leaving was the right decision. I also noticed another one-star review from just yesterday with a similarly negative and aggressive remark.
