What a lovely lovely restaurant. We arrived at the spur of the moment and the staff was so friendly and took us in and fed us so good! We had a pre prepared 4 course meal which also took inconsideration our allergies. Everything was incredibly delicious, and the local wines were wonderfully paired with each course. We had two cold starters, a soup and a main course. Unfortunately, we were too stuffed for a dessert! We first received a greeting from the chef which was his variation of a beef soup and a foamed butter with mustard seed. The starters were a marinated trout (on a bed of red cabbage) and a beef tongue with pumpkin foam. The warm starter was a cauliflower soup with fresh cauliflower and was amazing. As a main course we got a tender piece of Angus beef. No space for a desert! But of course they have a lovely selection of local wines and spirits as well as international ones. Do ask for a Shamar (a slap) the schnapps that caresses. Have to come here again! Note to self: remember to book in advance!

A beautiful restaurant by the river. Since it was cold, the terrace was closed, so we reserved a table inside the restaurant. The ambience is extremely pleasant, with soft music and adequate lighting. The food and wines are top notch, the service is excellent (the staff is approachable, friendly and talkative). The parking lot is 50 100 meters from the restaurant, but the town is small and wherever you park, it is not far (parking is not charged, except for a short period around the market, but it depends on what time of day you arrive, the maximum charge is 2 hours in period 6 13, but if you don't park there you don't have to pay anything). The food we ate was in 5 courses chosen by the chef (that's the only option 3 or 5 courses). Everything was special and delicious, accompanied by excellent wine. Definitely worth a visit.
