The Landing Zone - Virginia Beach

Visited for the first time this evening, what a fantastic place! We sat inside at the bar and ordered beers and nachos. The atmosphere is great, very laid back, neighbourhood bar vibe. The bartender was fantastic, couldn’t ask for more. We tried both the regular margarita and the jalapeño cucumber margarita. Both were delicious.Highly recommend. Will be back.

Nice clean friendly place. We came in and the ladies were so nice. Didn’t catch her name but I love her energy. Ordered a Philly steak sub it was tasteful

Great local place with lots of military pilots telling stories in a fun environment. Everyone greets you warmly. And their margaritas are special!!!Food: 5/5

A compromise choice since hubby wanted a burger and I wanted Latin American. He did get a mushroom Swiss burger, which he pronounced only okay. The fries, which were also in my loma saltado (which was beef as the waiter suggested as opposed to the pollo saltado which, of course, was with chicken , were good enough to eat without ketchup. And my loma saltado was pretty good, with large slices of onion and tomato plus some green pepper. I can't comment how authentic it was, but the meat was pretty tender. It also seemed a bit vinegary and maybe contained even a touch of soy (or was it worcestershire? sauce.No dessert menu, but bread pudding a la mode and churros were available. However, not a big fan of either, so can't tell you how they were. The waiter said that sometimes cheesecake was available, but none was to be had this time.
