La Fontana - Visby

Everything was OK, but nothing exceptional. Small things made the experience less enjoyable. For example, I asked for a glas of red before food and a glas of white with the main dish (seafood pasta). However, both glases arrived when the food was served felt pretty stupid, how to drink it? Another annoying thing was related to tips. Well, in Sweden waitors get a discent salary and are not economically dependent on getting tips. Therefore, normal practice is to give 1 2€ if you REALLY enjoyed the service. However, here there were pre programmed tips options starting from 10% and above, which, given the price level, was around 15 20€. I felt pressed to pay more than I wanted, so instead I cancel tips altogether.

We came to eat and lunch. extremely professional service. the personal is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is quiet and welcoming. pasta is delicious and there is almost no waiting time. Many thanks, jean pierre, will be back to any case when they visit gotland!

We would have had luck as other people mention the service that lasts long. for us it was the complete opposite. all service was fast and efficient, and eating was great!

Big place had the best pasta in visby they have a great terrese allso, I really recommend the fattyuccini alla la fontana pasta it is a must if in visby
