Quiet place in the historic centre of Volterra, for dinner ate pappardelle with wild boar, Pici cacio e Pepe and Ravioli with fresh tomatoes, all good and real. Political service, attention, the kitchen closes at 21.30.

We had lunch here in a lovely courtyard at the back. Although we arrived a late (1.45 or so) we were made to feel welcome and were given great, friendly service and lovely, well cooked local food. If we had been here at another time of year we certainly would have tried the restaurant for dinner as it looked very good. Highly recommended
