Personal super friendly and welcoming. good portions of food, although eating a little ground for the price was the only reason for four stars. overall a fantastic experience! thank you for feeling at home on such a cold day.

Was not friendly. the half of the order has forgotten and has not even apologized. they do not seem to like tourist.

Stay in volterra for a week and ate here several times. by far the most beautiful service and best eating I had the whole week. the paste with fresh truffles was perfect

Flew with my family to antica taverna. we tried two different pasta dishes and a pizza. everyone enjoyed their court. ate outside on the terrace and enjoyed their house white wine.

Our usual restaurant was shut so we were wandering the lovely quaint streets of Volterra and stumbled across this little place. It has seating outside on the quiet street with about tables. Only one other table was occupied when we sat down but then...it began to fill up quickly. The menu is small and we both chose pasta to start. My husband spaghetti with tomato pancetta me fat spaghetti with parmesan pepper. They were both delicious and good sized portions. We then had pizza's tuna onion four cheese. Thick bases and loads of topping, very good. The service was friendly and unhurried. The bill for this food plus wine and a soft drink came to euros.
