Konoba “donja Banda” - Vrsine

This Konoba (restaurant) is really in a suggestive location. The food is of excellent quality. Both meat and fish menu. I chose fish. Eating in front of the vegetable garden does not happen in all restaurants. Impressive quality of raw materials. The service was nice and attentive. It is possible to eat the traditional PEKA of meat, fish or vegetables, but you have to book at least one day in advance. Vegetarian options: Many grilled vegetables or salads. Cheeses. Kid-friendliness: There is a lot of open space and only customers come into the street. Parking: The restaurant is small and there is room for all diners

We were 5 adults, we ordered 3 x mix meat, a spaghetti bolognese and a chicken fillet with fries, we don't think it was anything special!! Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

We visited Konoba Donja Banda twice as we were staying in a villa nearby and could walk there in 20 minutes (we’re 5 adult family members). It’s rustic and traditional with a warm and sincere welcome. Food and drink was well priced and of good quality. Both times we chose to sit in the garden at the back in lovely shaded areas with some privacy. We ate meat and fish from the grill on our first visit and when we returned, ordered lamb Peka in advance so we could sample the traditional dish. We all thought it was amazing very tasty and perfectly cooked. Think they are cash only, so be prepared for that. Overall a fantastic place to eat if you want to see a bit of the ‘real Croatia’.

What a cozy canoe in the middle of nowhere !!! Super cozy atmosphere. The charcoal smell comes from miles away from the traditional cooking area. The great setting is authentic and the service enthusiastic. The food is mainly traditional and very tasty. Reservation is an absolute must. We 're going again. Ohw... just don 't forget your mosquito repellent.

Very beautiful setting, authentic with greenery. Friendly servers. The fish were very good and fresh. Very classic meat dishes and really nothing special. On the other hand, you can order a Peka, a specialty cooked in the fire which is very good according to my friends. Do not hesitate, really a nice place 10 minutes from Trogir and away from the crowds.
