Slippery's Tavern And - Wabasha

The food was excellent, the scenery was stunning, and the service was top-notch. Our waitress, Summer, was fantastic! The restaurant is situated right on the Mississippi River and even has a dock where you can fish, just like in the movie "Grumpy Old Men," which was filmed in the area. There’s also a lovely little gift shop and live music featured prominently in May!

The staff is incredibly friendly! The bar and barbecue are fantastic. It's a family-friendly atmosphere, and the terrace seating is lovely. The restaurant features fun memorabilia from the movie "Grumpy Old Men," and they sell T-shirts, sweatshirts, and hats. This is a great spot to visit if you're a fan of the movie or just looking for a fun restaurant with beautiful river views!

The food and service were quite good overall. My burger was cooked a bit more than I typically like, but since they didn’t ask about my preferences, I didn’t think to request a different cooking level. Some places handle burgers differently, and although it wasn't cooked quite right, it was still enjoyable and not a major issue. The view of the river was definitely a highlight, and the outdoor seating area was nice. The drinks were well made. However, I found the items in the gift shop to be on the pricey side for what they offered.

The waitress was super nice! View was great! Pool table and flipper on the back were entertaining!

Awesome view and the salad had lots of greens. Jay was very pleasant as a bartender and food server. I will be back!!! This was my first visit!!!
