The Brazos Landing - Waco

We visited this restaurant with the hope of enjoying our favorite dish, crawfish étouffée, which we've always loved. However, during our most recent visit, it seemed the chef might have altered the sauce, and unfortunately, it did not taste good. On a positive note, our server was incredibly kind and attentive, genuinely concerned that we might leave disappointed and hungry. She offered us several alternative options, but we weren’t interested in anything else. Sierra truly stood out as the best part of our experience; she was professional, patient, and empathetic towards our frustration. Her ability to connect with us made our visit significantly more enjoyable, even amidst our disappointment. We appreciate her efforts and will definitely return whenever she’s working. The restaurant has a wonderful array of food and provided excellent service overall. It’s just unfortunate that they’ve changed our favorite dish. Overall, I would rate it 9/10.

Table of 10, celebrating retired veteran who just graduated with her Master’s Degree. We sat at our table at 7:05, our food arrived at 8:17….COLD. The server tried her best to fix the situation but unfortunately the repairs didn’t do much. I’d never select this restaurant again and I hate that the celebration for this deserving individual did not meet our expectations. Executive Chef took the graduates cold food, “reheated” it, but it came back out cold again instead of remaking the order. Food wasn’t flavorful, definitely not Cajun. Our “catfish” looked more like tilapia and tasted bland. Desserts hard and not sweetened. Drinks weren’t good. 2/10 overall. Maybe ok for a simple night out but please don’t use this place for a celebration. Definitely not worth it.

Me and my sissy meet here for our sister date and we absolutely LOVE the food. The Peach Cobbler is my absolute fav!!! The Banana Pudding Icecream is FABULOUS. The lobster pasta is great but they are stingy with the meat haha. ?. My sister loves the bread pudding and King Crabs. Food is all around GREAT! Can’t wait to go back.

The food was amazing. The staff was wonderful. The ambiance was fantastic, and the view was breathtaking.
