CC Bar and Grill - Wagga Wagga

Seeking to support the clubs attempt to provide Friday night entertainment utilising local musicians, Brought out of town visitors along for a meal. After a 70 minute wait we were served one reasonable meal (lamb pasta) one incorrect meal (sent back as they provide a meat dish to vegetarians who had ordered the vegetarian risotto) and a fish and chips with stale batter and over cooked bland chips. The long waited for vegetarian risotto was more like a rice soup and tasteless with the sweat potato component, that was part of the name, limited to two slices, not to mention the boiled to death side of vegetables (one of the diners noted they had eaten better at the local hospital before it was refurbished). All at a greater price than would normally expect from a club bistro. If the establishment want to continue to be innovative to attract customers it will need to greatly improve the food quality, options and presentation!

Great food and service, will definitely visit again next time we are in Wagga. The staff were super friendly and the kids club was very handy for the family.

This please has been closed for 2yrs. There is a donut shop there now! Excellent donuts.

Well last visited in Nov 2016. Through town last month and could not believe how the over all Food Service and atmosphere has improved. Good serves, well priced, cooked to perfection and nice people to boot. My only complaint was the mushroom sauce was bland but that is so minor. Sept next visit and will be there,

Visiting for the first time, when our meals were ordered, by a simple error, "crumbed Cutlets" versus "crumbed prawns" x two and a "300gm fillet steak. When the food arrived, "crumbed prawn"! Without question the staff raced away and returned with two plates with crumbed lamb cutlets. Whilst a simple error, nothing too difficult for the staff, continually checking we were happy with everything. My steak was well prepared and enjoyed. My only disappointment was my wife didn't share the lamb cutlets, mainly because they too superb. Thank you to the chef & staff concerned.
