Coquito's - Waianae

I was a bit hesitant at first, but this turned out to be the best meal I've had all week! I don’t think I've ever eaten so well, even in Puerto Rico! Amazing! God bless this place!

The restaurant is quite small, with very limited parking. When I arrived, I was handed a menu at the door, but then they went through a list of items they were out of stock. This happened at 11:00 AM, so I decided to leave.

It was my first time there, and I must say everything from the service, food, and price was wonderful! I will return and bring my family friends! Nice ambience!

If you’re looking for flavorful food this is the place. I always enjoy the flank steak mofongo, the amarillos, tostones and habichuelas or gandules rice. Truly delicious! As a puertorrican I can say it is on point with the sazón boricua, a piece of my island in my second home. I’m grateful to have the privilege of eating my homeland food so far away from home. And they have malta india! Also the service is quick and the servers are very kind and welcoming.

It has nothing of . They never have Puerto Rican picadera. I went yesterday and I'm not coming back. What I ordered was bad, with old oil and nothing Puerto Rican. The ropa Vieja dumplings were super small and I ordered 2 for $5 each, 4 pieces of fried yucca, a little burnt fries, 2 malts and 2 pina coladas $43.98 without tip
