Phoenix - WAINSCOTT

I'm surprised to see the low ratings for this amazing restaurant. It typically has a rating of 4, but I gave it a 5 to help boost the overall score a bit. The service was outstanding, and the food was fresh and delicious. During our visit, we were one of just three tables with young children, and there was also another couple dining around 5:30. Once again, the food was incredibly fresh and tasty! We definitely plan to come back.

My favorite spot for Chinese food! PHOENIX is my top choice and the first place that comes to mind for delivery! It's the best in Wainscott and East Hampton, and I gladly make the effort to eat here!

After reading through various reviews, I can confidently say that anyone who has complained about this restaurant is likely unfamiliar with genuine poor service. This is my favorite restaurant, and having lived in around 20 different cities in Suffolk County, I can assure you that they are upfront about their delivery times. I have never had to wait long for my food, and I would bet that their service is just as quick as their delivery. Everything is reasonably priced as well. I don’t usually write Google reviews, but it’s clear that those who criticize this restaurant have never experienced true bad dining. I really enjoy the brief time I spend on the phone placing my delivery order—it's one of my favorite parts of the experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to all my friends!

We had dinner at this restaurant and it was fantastic. The food was perfectly seasoned—definitely not too salty. The vegetables were incredibly fresh and not overcooked. The chow fun was cooked to perfection, and the bean curd was boiled just right, crisp on the outside. If we come back to the Hamptons, we will definitely revisit the Phoenix Restaurant.

As for the food, the sushi was awful—I've had better from a supermarket. It was definitely not fresh; the avocado was browning, and they smothered it in sauce to mask the terrible taste, which was bland and all the same. The salad was so waterlogged that the dressing was practically diluted. The miso soup was barely warm and tasteless. Overall, a disappointing experience.
