Nilakash Tandoori Takeaway - Wakefield

We have been visiting Nilakash for MANY years. Over the last few years however, service has not been as good. Costs have increased but check when your order as rice is no longer included too and we weren't advised of this. We asked for less oil and salt which was never a problem, this was ignored. The food wasn't as high quality as we have come to expect. What with the increased delivery costs brought in prior to the cost of living crisis and the poorer quality food, we will not be ordering again. Thos was the best Indian food and brilliant service around at one time but not any more :

I placed my order over the phone after browsing the menu online. I was quoted a different price than what was listed online, and was informed that it was cheaper online only from Monday to Friday. My order arrived an hour later, missing one of the rice dishes. When I called, they said they would send it out once the driver returned. The curry was tasty, but unfortunately it was not hot and certainly not worth the price of £21.50 for two curries. I was shocked to see a £3.50 delivery charge as well. I have been a loyal customer of Nilakash for many years, but after tonight, I feel like I was taken advantage of. I will not be ordering from them again.

I must say that we frequently order from this restaurant when we're in the mood for a delicious Indian meal. My husband loves spicy food and they always accommodate his taste preferences. The dishes always arrive hot and in a reasonable amount of time. The food is flavorful and reasonably priced. The staff is also very friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

We usually get Indian food from this restaurant, which is always exceptional, but tonight we decided to try their pizza. I must say, the pizza was delicious with plenty of flavor. We were very satisfied and would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.
