Yamas Greek Eatery - Walla Walla

I am hearty to publish a 1 star update. I loved my first experience in yamas and could not wait to take my family there. the opportunity was created when my nephew studied at wwcc this year. I called the restaurant at 11:54 clock at a Friday in juni to see if I could get reservations in this night. the man who replied that he could not make any reservations because my manager took the book home and I called back by noon to try again. I confirmed he wanted to call me back in 6 minutes. yes. I called back at 12:30 a.m. and a man with a thick Greek accent answered the phone and informed me that they would not take reservations because of the expected amount for the final weekend. my party of 7 (4 adults, 3 children in the age of 8-12 years) arrived on Sunday at 11 o'clock. there were only 2 tables throughout the restaurant. this early on a Sunday it was literally a sea of empty tables and chairs. we were greeted by a male server who informed us that he could not put us because we had no reservations. I've forwarded my conversation with his manager. he would still not sit down. he made a big show to look around all empty tables and still doubled that due to the booked reservations for later on that day, yes later on that day, he could not sit us. I was horrified. I've never been treated so badly. all seven of us turned around and went out and spent our money in a competing restaurant on the street.

We were in walla walla, wine tasting. one of the wineries recommended us to try yamas and we ended up there. I had the paid milk plate rosmarin and olive oil seasoned lamb ribs. perfection. and the ones I didn't leave. Despite the eye roles of my partner: we go in 2 weeks to walla walla and will have friends there.

Delicious, well prepared foods at a reusable price. the chicken tongue had well fed and generous portions, which are easily divided by two.

The most authentic Greek restaurant I have ever visited from the east coast to the west coast. fantastic. the owner is wonderful and friendly. the whole place is so authentic Greek and phenomenal.

Grilled octopus was AMAZING! The rest of our food was excellent too.
